Operations Specialist (home-based within Europe)
Help to create a fairer, more sustainable food system!

Industrial animal agriculture is at the root of many of the most pressing global issues of our time, from climate change and global hunger, to increased disease risk and the exploitation of billions of animals annually.

The Good Food Institute Europe (GFI Europe) is a non-profit organisation at the forefront of the movement to replace the products of industrial animal agriculture with plant-based, fermentation-made and cultivated foods.

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join our growing team to support operations across all functions in our effective, impactful organisation.

This position would suit a broad range of people. You don’t necessarily need to have worked in an Operations role before as long as you have a can-do mindset and can demonstrate an aptitude for this type of work. This is a full-time, permanent role, with a lot of flexibility in terms of work schedule and location (home-based/remote from anywhere in Europe).

This is a varied position that involves working across a wide range of tasks. You will have a lot of opportunities for professional development and to take on responsibilities, as well as autonomy in how you manage your time and complete tasks and projects. It is an exciting time to join our rapidly growing Operations team, and you’ll work closely with the Head of Operations who line-manages this post.

To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most:

A passion and talent for devising and managing effective systems, fixing problems, and ensuring accurate, efficient and legally compliant administration.
Strong prioritisation and time management skills to juggle various competing tasks and projects.
Excellent people and communications skills to build strong relationships with colleagues across teams and external stakeholders.

We want the best people and we don’t want biases holding us back. We strongly encourage people of every colour, orientation, age, gender, origin, and ability to apply. Because we value a diverse workplace, we prioritise an inclusive climate absent of discrimination and harassment during the application process and after you join the team.

For more information about this role and to see the full list of responsibilities and requirements, please check out the full job description on our website (https://gfieurope.org/careers/operations-specialist/) and if you have any questions, join the Operations team for a live Q&A on 29 November at 8pm CET: https://zoom.us/j/97382810424
