During your internship you will create a project of your own. For example, this could mean planing, designing and operating a campaign. Other activists may assist you during your intership, if you whish, but the main aim is to learn to work in a self organized manner.
The „Projektwerkstatt Freiburg“ (a „projectlaboratory“ for political activism) is still in development. Our goal is to create open worklabs and offices for a common use. We would also be happy to recieve some help with the construction of our workspaces.
You should have an idea of what you want to do or learn during your stay with us. Our focus is to support independent political activities.

You can learn:
Webdesign and layout (for flyers, pamphlets etc.)
planing and operating campaigns
networking
organizing events and actions
fundraising
alternative media and public relations

We offer:
a temporate internship (time period depending on our agreement)
working time as you whish
self organized political campaigning and action planing without a boss, but with the support of others
an emanzipated, anti-hierarchical atmosphere in a team of other jung activists
if you want: free accommodation in our common rooms (there are no private rooms!)
offices you can use for free and delicious, free vegan food!

What we expect:
a strong interest in political issues
a „do it yourself“- mentality of working in a self organized manner
openess for exceptional projects
an awereness for the boarders of others (as we combine living and working together in common rooms, this is very important to get along). We will also not accept racist, sexist, ageistic, lookist or in other ways discriminating behavoir.
the ability to accept and express critisms and to question your own ideas and behavior
the ability and willingness to communicate about your thoughts and needs
a proactive mentality
that you attain a vegetarian/vegan lifestile while living with us
since we are an independant project, we would like to see you getting involved in fundraising while your here to cover the expenses of our house. This is not a must, but if you are interested in learning how to do some fundraising of your own, this would minimize the financial burden we will have for food and accomodation. However, we do expect you to participate in some household chores, like cooking and doing the dishes, etc.
