Trainee in Fundraising (m/f/d)
Would you like to help us advance the work of ProVeg and contribute to the organisation’s sustainability and capacity to finance campaigns and projects? Are you a talented organiser and do you find it easy to communicate confidently with all different kinds of people? Do you already have experience in fundraising or marketing? If so, then you've come to the right place! We are looking for a trainee for our fundraising team. You will work on ongoing projects, both independently and with the fundraising team, as well as supporting the team in its day-to-day operations

Ongoing collaboration in the following areas of fundraising on a rotational basis:
- Public fundraising: fundraising campaigns, supporter engagement, small and mid-level donation, online fundraising, face-to-face fundraising.
- Major donations: private donors, corporate fundraising and sponsoring, foundations, legacies.
- After familiarisation with the basics of fundraising, you will be responsible for targeted, independent project work, including the conception, implementation, and evaluation of a fundraising project coordinated by the team.
- Collaboration on the creation of a customer-profiling concept with team leadership and supporter commitment. as well as customer-relations management.
- Cross-departmental cooperation on various ProVeg projects.

- You have completed or almost completed your studies in communication sciences, economics, or nonprofit management.
- You have the ability to grasp complex issues, develop and evaluate alternative courses of action, and arrive at decisions.
- You have analytical, conceptual, and communicative skills and can use them successfully, in combination with your own initiative, in a team.
- A passion for social issues and the desire to work with us to change the world.
- You enjoy writing texts and articles in German and like working creatively.
- Your German and English skills are at a very high level, both written and oral.

Our application procedure

Should you be shortlisted for the job, the following steps will apply:
1.) An online-based sample task.
2.) An initial interview with you.
3.) An office trial day, which will consist of undertaking a set of tasks that would be typical of the work that you would do with us. Depending on the location, this day can either take place in our office or can be done from home. In this way, we want to get to know you and your way of working even better, as well as give you the opportunity to get a good idea of the work entailed.
4.) Subsequently, the final decision will be made (if necessary an additional final discussion may be required).
