I'm looking for people to help me get my project up and running. It is an agroecological project that aims to disseminate and teach the basic principles of organic farming, energy self-sufficiency and the reuse of waste.
The farm is located in an area close to Agüimes, a town located in the southeast of Gran Canaria, at the bottom of a barranco (ravine) and with no neighbors nearby, so you have total calm. I came here three years ago, with the idea to rebuild the lands that belonged to my family. Previously I studied wine making and agricultural engineering, specializing in organic farming. I have more than 10 years of experience of making wines in different viticultural areas of Spain.
The objective of this project is to create a rural entrepreneurship center, where different entrepreneurs have the opportunity to start their business idea, always in an ecological way and respecting the environment.
Currently here are living 3 people and 2 dogs, we have solar energy, some fruit crops (olive trees, vineyards ...), orchards and chickens for self-consumption. The next steps would be to build a larger chicken coop, repair a house that needs repairs and keep planting fruit and vegetables.
Your tasks would be to perform independent tasks on the land, take care of the chickens and help us in the different projects we are developing, especially to build the chicken coop, since we need a person with experience with wood work, since our knowledge is not enough.
It offers a double room with bathroom and a common kitchen. Food is paid during the stay. English is provided.

Busco gente para que me ayude a poner en funcionamiento mi proyecto. Es un proyecto agroecológico que pretende divulgar y enseñar los principios básicos de la agricultura ecológica, la autosuficiencia energética y la reutilización de los residuos generados
La finca está situada en una zona próxima a Agüimes, localidad situada en el sureste de Gran Canaria, en el fondo de un barranco y sin vecinos cerca, por lo que se tiene una calma total. Me vine aquí hace tres años, con la idea de poner en funcionamiento las tierras que fueron de mi familia. Anteriormente estudié elaboración de vinos e ingenieria agrícola, especializándome en los cultivos ecológicos. Tengo más de 10 años de experiencia realizando vinos realizando vinos en diferentes zonas vitícolas de España.
El objetivo de este proyecto es realizar un centro de emprendimiento rural, donde diferentes emprendedores tengan la oportunidad de iniciar su idea empresarial, siempre de forma ecológica y respetando el medio ambiente.
Actualmente estamos viviendo 3 personas y 2 perros, disponemos de energía solar, algunos cultivos de frutales (olivos, viñas…), huertos y gallinas para el autoconsumo. Los siguientes pasos serían el construir un gallinero más amplio, reparar una casa que necesita arreglos y seguir plantando frutales y hortalizas.
Las labores para las que necesitamos ayuda sería realizar tareas independientes en las tierras, cuidar las gallinas y ayudarnos en los diferentes proyectos que estamos desarrollando, especialmente para construir el gallinero, ya que necesitamos a una persona con experiencia con el trabajo con madera, ya que nuestros conocimientos no son suficientes.
Se ofrece una habitación doble con baño incluido y una cocina común. Se paga la comida durante la estancia. Hablamos inglés.
